Choctaw Indian Reservation
Choctaw Indians

In Pearl River Community, 8 miles west of Philadelphia, off Highway 16, are located the headquarters of the Choctaw Tribal Council, a modern medical facility, Choctaw Central High School, Choctaw Indian Museum, a Choctaw crafts store, and a residential area. The Tribe also holds on this site, The Choctaw Indian Fair, to celebrate Choctaw Indian Heritage during the month of July each year. The Fair program includes selection and coronation of the Choctaw Indian Princess, exhibits from various communities and examples of basketry, beadwork and handcrafts of Choctaw artists, as well as celebrity entertainers.
