William M. Courtney

I am searching for the burial site of a Great Great Grandfather William M. Courtney who was married to Mollie Spivey Courtney buried in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery of Neshoba County. A Death Certificate has been ordered for Mollie yet I was delighted to find the Internet article that listed relations and ‘Submitted by Pam’.
Is there anyway you may know how to contact ‘Pam’ to see if she knows the location of William M Courtney’s burial? Per a granddaughter’s recollection of stories she had heard, he passed away a year prior to Mollie from a gunshot wound. The story is told he was a lawman around 1900 in the Philadelphia MS area and did not die from a wound to the head. The bullet was not removed; however it is believed it killed him years later. (Family story) I was simply curious if he could be buried in the cemetery without a grave marker?

McCraw family
I live in Macon, GA and am unable to travel to Neshoba county. I'm looking for documentation on my McCraw family. My mother, Mollie McCraw Penrod, lost all of her documents during Katrina and I'm trying to give her some of it back.
My grandfather William David McCraw was born 6 July 1901 in Nashoba to David Allen and Emily Arlene Smith McCraw.
I know Emily died before the 1910 census and David Allen married again quickly.
Any information would be appreciated.

Lampley, Alexander, Peavy, and Seale families

I am doing research on the Lampley, Alexander, Peavy and Seale families from Neshoba and Kemper county. I am interested in getting more information about the Lampley photo that you posted on the Kemper site, and/or if you know of anyone in Kemper county who could give me information on any of the above families.

Thank you!

I had a Neshoba Query Board housed on this Neshoba site. My current server will not support the board, will have all of the queries posted by the end of March, 2004,.  Please feel free to post (or repost) your queries.

The genconnect boards were combined to make one board. This is the Ancestry Query Board. If you wish to submit queries or see past queries, click on Ancestry Query Board
