  PICTURES

From: Tammy S.

Hey there,

Though I would send you some more pictures for the site. I enjoy looking at old pictures and thought others might also. They give me a better feel for the people and environments in which they lived. It also helps preserve them when they are shared!

Hope you find them useful.

Neshoba county school?-- Not sure if this is school or church group. There seems to be a lot of adults. On the back row (5 from left with suit and tie) is my G Grandfather Frank Brand. He was a Methodist preacher and could be holding a Bible. Unable to identify anyone else. If this is his church group it may not be Neshoba Co. He was in Smith Co. at Pineville in 1920.

School picture--The boy just above the crack on the left looks to be John "Buster" Brand and the girl in the back under the window looks to be one of his sisters.

John, Mary and Children--John Washington and Mary Moriah Whitmire Brand 1911/12 with Jessie?, Sallie?, Frank and his wife Lela Pilgrim Brand, Beulah, Nora, John, Lizzie, Archie, and Andrew

John, Mary, and Children2--John, Mary with John, Buelah, Lizzie, Nora, Archie, Andrew and Mildred

Mary with Archie, Andrew, Charles and Mildred

Brands c1916-- date incorrect but it is John and Mary with unknown child possibly Mildred (b. 1916) Mary has on the same outfit as above so may have been taken the same day

Uncle John (b. 1900)--Same chair as above so possible same day photo

G. Grand father Frank Brand performing a wedding

Pilgrims of Neshoba County

From: Tammy S.

The following images have been submitted from an old photo album that belonged to Lela Mae Pilgrim Brand Davis.

Do you know of anyone who might be able to identify these people. I believe that they are members of James Boston Pilgrim's family. Any assistance would
be greatly appreciated.

Please email Tammy S.   or the Webmaster LeFloris Lyon

Thanks,

Tammy
