Germany Men ...

as submitted by Len

B. C. Germany in the 6th Cav. was Benjamin Campbell Germany (1828-1873) of western Kemper County. Ben Cam's sons William Daniel Germany and Ben Campbell Germany Jr. moved to Spring Creek area of Neshoba County in the late 1890s.

There was also a B.C. Germany living in Neshoba County at the time of the war but this was Benjamin Cobb Germany who served in the 36th Infantry... Ben Cobb and Ben Campbell were 1st cousins.

H. W. Germany is Henry William Germany (7/27/1845 - 8/30/1909) of Neshoba County, son of James H. and Martha E. (Morris) Germany. Henry William Germany's father James was my g.g.grandfather, Ben Campbell Germany's 1st cousin.
